Home
Ireland – both North and South - is one of the most magical places on earth to go walking. All those green fields and wild coasts, manageable but rugged little mountain ranges, unfrequented and beautiful boglands, lakes, forests, river banks and tiny winding lanes where you seldom meet a soul. And the souls you do meet – well, don’t expect to do much walking once you’ve got into conversation, because the Irish are the chattiest and friendliest folk in the world. And this isn’t even to mention the brilliant country pubs, and the local walkers you’ll be put in touch with there, and the walking festivals they’ll tell you about.
